Bye Week Thoughts

I have this to say about the Georgia Bulldogs:

- Alabama loss does not hurt all that much.

- Great time for a bye week. Not only did Georgia lose on the scoreboard, they got their ass beat on the field and the injuries show that.

- Georgia does not have a veteran leader and I put that on Stafford. He is going to make a lot of money in the future and he seems like a good guy. I know the O-line is atrocious. I know that. But he has 8 or 9 more games to leave a legacy that right now falls well short of Shockley's, Green's, and Zeier's. Maybe unfair, but without Mr. Moreno how would he look?

- 3 of Georgia's best performers this year are sophomores or youger. Moreno, AJ, and Curran. The 4th in my opinion is Allen. Either he is real good or Evans and Miller are really bad.

- O-line is really bad and I don't know how much better they are going to get. The tackle situation might be the worst in the SEC. D-ends could get better but right now I think it would be better to run a 2-5 on defense.

- Georgia will be okay as long as the injuries don't get much worse. LSU is going to be real tough, but if we beat Florida and Auburn we are playing in Atlanta and right now I think all Georgia fans would take that no matter how many games we lose. This is not a National Championship team, but is good enough to win an SEC title. That being said, I would go with Tampa for the Dawgs come January.
