ACC schools just don't have big fan bases. The move to Tampa was a good move, since the stadium is only 65,000. Tech and Clemson should be able to sell that out, although it didn't help that both teams lost this weekend.
The game will move to Charlotte in a few years, which is where it should have been all along. The state of North Carolina is ACC country and Charlotte is within driving distance of all the ACC schools, except Miami and BC.
