Spurrier Suspends Guard
South Carolina will be without one of their starting offensive guards tonight when they open their season in Starkvegas. James Thompson was suspended 4 games for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
Hopefully, this softens the blow of losing Inman for next week.

I don't know how much this will hurt Carolina tonight but it sure doesn't help. State is going to play above their capability and I will not be surprised if this one comes down to a one possesion game. Carolina struggled severely in the opener last year and you know they are thinking about Georgia.
